Making the music video for when the Day Ends was an interesting process. Here are a few photos documenting the whole thing from sketchbook ‘till end result.

We wanted to film the video in one shot like a performance, without editing or correcting a single thing afterwards. June 10, I teamed up with Willem and Renaat in Thomas Vandenberge’s boiling hot studio and after quite a number of rehearsals we finally managed to capture the story the way we intended it.

It was a big project and I only managed to pull it of thanks to: Willem, Renaat and Wouter who played on the song, Filip for D-day morning pep-talk,  Peter @studioledeberg for the recording + mix and Uwe @electropolis for the mastering, Karel @show show gallery and Thomas Vandenberghe who were both awesome when everything was falling apart, Karel Vanmontfort who cleverly ping-ponged idea’s and helped with the build, MatthiasDe Wolf who hot bended the steel wires and Heleen who was supportive in a trillion ways
